On an English Excursion ครั้งที่ 2 @Kanchanaburi
The best way to learn is from experience!
On May 5, 2019, a group of Silpakorn University students went on an excursion to Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The excursion was part of the project “Promoting SU Students’ English Skills in the 21st Century” aiming to provide students with hands-on communication activities. During the excursion, students visited the JEATH War Museum where the history of the Death Railway, constructed during World War II, was discussed. They then traveled by train to explore the Death Railway and Krasae Cave. The activities offered the participants an opportunity to share their historical knowledge in English. We would like to thank our guest lecturers Siriwut Chamtakong and Kietnawin Sridhanyarat from the Archeology Faculty, who spearheaded this excursion. In addition, we are grateful to Asst. Prof. Supakarn Pathong, Acting Assistant to the President for General Education Administration and the staff members at G&E Center who devoted their time and effort to ensuring the success of this project.
