On April 22, 2021, the G&E Center held a virtual training session focused on CEFR and how it can be applied to the classroom.
The participants included full-time and part-time lecturers who brought an energy and curiosity to the session that was deeply appreciated. Our most sincere thanks go to Mr. Jonathan Dixon, of the British Council, who has years of experience in the ELT environment. This expertise brought a fresh insight and practicality into how we can approach and adapt CEFR to the classroom. It should be noted Assistant Professor Dr. Supakarn Pathong, Director of the G&E Center, went the extra mile in organizing this session given the challenges that Covid-19 has created in bringing this information to your doorstep. A heartfelt “Thanks!” goes to Assistant Professor Kietnawin Sridhanyarat, Vice Director of the G&E Center, for all his behind the scenes work in making this event happen. Our heartfelt thanks also go to our MC, Ajarn Phimonphan Wong-aram, Deputy Director of the Central Library for International Affairs, Silpakorn University, for keeping the session progressing in a smooth, friendly, and relaxed manner.
